Age: 22  Height: 5’3”  Before: 195.2  After: 145  My name is Coley and I’m a 22 year old college student. I’ve struggled with my weight ever since I can remember. I was constantly picked on in school for the way I looked. For a period in elementary school I also grew up in an abusive home. I came home to step-father who called me fat and worthless. I grew up believing that he was right, even after my mom divorced him and he was out of my life. His constant emotional abuse followed me up until 2 years ago. I decide enough was enough. I wasn’t going to let him have that much power over me. He would no longer control my feelings toward myself and my happiness. I decided to start losing weight and his voice when from being a screaming voice in my head to a whisper before it disappeared forever. I’m currently 50.2 pounds lighter than when I started but most importantly, I can finally look in the mirror and love the person starring back at me.
